Senior Field Applications Engineer
Role Summary
As Senior Field Applications Engineer you will be the primary technical liaison to customers, helping them design and deploy Baya's interconnect and IP solutions in SoC and multi-die systems. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver tailored solutions.
Baya Systems develops unified fabric IP and software platforms for data center, AI, automotive and edge markets.
Experience Level
Senior — typically requires 5+ years in field application engineering or customer-facing technical roles.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for key customers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Assist in designing and implementing customized solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Advise customers on product development strategies and industry best practices.
- Travel to customer sites and events as required.
Requirements
Must-have and desirable qualifications:
- Must-have: 5+ years in field application engineering or a customer-facing technical role.
- Must-have: Experience designing or supporting complex SoC from architecture definition to tape-out on advanced process nodes.
- Must-have: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with customers and partners.
- Must-have: Willingness to travel to customer sites and events.
- Nice-to-have: Understanding of RAS and reliability for enterprise and infrastructure markets.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with functional safety standards and certification.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is specified.
