Sr Engineer Integration & Yield

Role Summary

Process Integration & Yield engineer responsible for developing, qualifying and integrating semiconductor processes to improve yield, quality, and manufacturability in a volume fab environment. Works with cross-functional teams (process, device, test, and fab operations) to drive new product introduction, troubleshoot yield issues, and implement process improvements.

Role contributes directly to fab production readiness, yield ramp and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include process development, yield analysis, NPI support, and cross-functional collaboration:

• Support development and qualification of new processes and integration of additional modules/features.
• Manage new product introduction from tapeout to successful prototyping and production ramp.
• Troubleshoot inline measurement and electrical test issues using process integration and device knowledge.
• Identify and lead resolution of line- and wafer-level yield problems to closure.
• Optimize process margins using Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
• Monitor SPC trends and Cpk for critical inline and electrical parameters to ensure production quality.
• Perform project management and data analysis to support integration and yield goals.
• Develop or adapt processes and test structures to meet customer and design requirements.
• Build defect source libraries, perform tool defect fingerprinting, and conduct partitioning studies for yield/defect characterization.
• Document processes, failure modes, mitigation and detection plans; drive continuous improvement plans (CIP).
• Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements.

Requirements

• Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Must-have: Familiarity with data analysis tools and statistical methodologies (SPC, Cpk, DOE).
• Preferred: Experience in semiconductor process integration or yield engineering.
• Preferred: Experience with inline measurement, electrical test analysis, and process characterization.
• Good project management and data-driven decision-making skills.

Education Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
