Role Summary

Develop and maintain parasitic extraction (PEX) components within Process Design Kits (PDKs) to enable semiconductor design for GlobalFoundries RF and related technologies. Work with EDA tool vendors, cross-functional engineering teams, and customers to validate PEX methodologies, automate flows, and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on building, validating, and supporting PEX components and associated automation and flows.

• Develop and maintain Parasitic Extraction (PEX) components as part of PDKs for GlobalFoundries RF technologies.
• Model fabrication process effects within PEX solutions to ensure accurate extraction results.
• Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to support PEX development and resolve technical issues.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to PEX PDK components.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customer and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation for PEX development, validation, and QA to improve engineering productivity.
• Contribute to the development, validation, and enhancement of PEX methodologies, flows, and quality standards.
