Job Title

Sr. DRAM System Engineer

Role Summary

Work in the DRAM System Validation Group to perform system-level validation, characterization, failure analysis, and experimentation for DRAM products. The role runs and configures diagnostic software, designs experiments, analyzes and interprets data, develops custom tools, and presents results to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with Systems Compatibility, Application Engineering, Product Engineering, RMA, and other groups. Occasional work at customer sites may be required.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include system validation, analysis, and tooling to support DRAM system behavior and customer requirements.

  • Perform system-level validation and characterization of DRAM in target platforms.
  • Design and execute experiments for failure analysis and performance characterization.
  • Run and configure diagnostic software and automation to collect and analyze system data.
  • Develop custom analysis tools and scripts to process results and accelerate debug.
  • Interpret data, create clear technical reports, and present findings to internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering, Product Engineering, Systems Compatibility, and RMA groups to resolve issues.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools (data analytics, automation, copilot-style aids) to improve validation and engineering productivity.
  • Occasionally perform on-site customer investigations or support.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, communication abilities, and collaborative behaviors.

  • Familiarity with DRAM and system operations.
  • Strong understanding of system-level debug and failure analysis.
  • Good multitasking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred / nice-to-have

  • Application engineering or design experience related to memory testing and computing.
  • Hardware experience: x86, ARM platforms, system-level interfaces; familiarity with Intel/AMD ecosystems.
  • Lab equipment experience: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, motherboards.
  • Software skills: Python, Linux, C.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
