Sr. Design Verification Engineer

Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer on a CPU testbench infrastructure team responsible for building scalable verification environments for next-generation server processors. The role focuses on enabling high-quality CPU verification via robust infrastructure, tooling, and advanced methodologies including AI-driven techniques, and works closely with globally distributed design, verification, and debug teams.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining CPU-level testbench infrastructure and supporting core-level validation and integration.
- Develop and maintain CPU-level testbench infrastructure using C++.
- Build scalable verification environments supporting CPU subsystems and core-level validation.
- Write and enhance tests and verification components using C++, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and debug teams across global locations.
- Debug testbench and design issues using software models and analysis tools.
- Contribute to verification quality metrics and coverage closure.
- Support integration of testbench infrastructure with broader verification workflows.
- Apply modern methodologies, including AI-driven techniques, to improve verification efficiency.

- Must-have: Strong C/C++ programming and software development skills.
- Must-have: Experience building or maintaining verification testbenches.
- Must-have: Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Must-have: Understanding of CPU or processor microarchitecture; familiarity with RTL design (Verilog or equivalent).
- Must-have: Scripting experience (Python, Perl, or similar) and experience using software models and analysis/debug tools.
- Must-have: Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with distributed engineering teams.
- Nice-to-have: Background in design verification for CPU, memory, networking, or similar domains.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
