Sr. Application Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and debug video and audio applications on embedded systems targeting Ambarella's AI vision processors. Work on new feature development across driver and middleware layers and provide technical support to customers for product integration and issue resolution.
Experience Level
Senior-level. The posting requests at least 2 years of software/firmware development experience.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include development, debugging, and customer support for embedded vision products.
- Develop and debug video/audio applications on embedded platforms.
- Implement new features on Ambarella architecture at driver and middleware layers.
- Analyze customer product issues and provide technical solutions and customization support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware and software components.
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting at customer locations when required.

- At least 2 years of software/firmware development experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ programming.
- Strong experience in at least one of: OS (VxWorks/Linux/uITRON), BSP, or driver development.
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure.
- Willingness and ability to travel for customer support.
- Nice-to-have: hardware experience and embedded systems background.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in electronic engineering, computer science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
