Role Summary

The Sr. Analog Design Engineer at Micron Technology will design, develop, and verify integrated circuits used in semiconductor products. This role involves driving the layout of complex circuits, participating in silicon bring-up, and providing analysis for design improvements.

Experience Level

Mid-level; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Designing and verifying analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Driving layouts and participating in silicon bring-up and characterization.
  • Performing simulations for circuit functionality and performance verification.
  • Presenting design ideas to internal teams and clients.
  • Investigating discrepancies between silicon and simulations.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Experience with AMS design, Advanced CMOS, and FinFet technologies.
  • Knowledge of high-speed memory interfaces (DDR3/4/5, LPDDR3/4x/5, etc.).
  • Experience in ownership of sub-blocks such as PLL, DLL, CDR, etc.
  • Ability to conduct architecture trade-offs in high-speed SerDes and PHY.
  • Proficiency in analog and mixed signal circuits.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
