Job Title

Specialist, New Product Logistics

Role Summary

Coordinate logistics and product planning for new ATE instrumentation and related products from early development through release to sales. Work with internal design, applications, manufacturing and external partners to manage material orders, schedules, and engineering sample delivery.

Experience Level

Mid-level; typically 3–4 years of relevant experience is expected.

Responsibilities

Manage and track the product lifecycle, ensuring components and samples are available on schedule and that stakeholders are informed of priorities and risks.

  • Own product cycle schedules and drive planning activities from initiation to delivery using workflow systems.
  • Coordinate material orders, shipment dates, and wafer starts; manage cycle time through assembly for new products.
  • Maintain and review Bills of Materials to ensure material capacity for development.
  • Assign and retire product numbers in systems; enter material/packaging data into workflow tools.
  • Synchronize with design, applications, marketing, and manufacturing to communicate priorities and status.
  • Manage engineering sampling and ensure timely delivery of samples to customers.
  • Attend product development meetings and provide feedback on workflow and schedule risks.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

  • Approximately 3–4 years of relevant experience in product logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing support.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and sound judgment within established practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through to resolution.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to build relationships across functions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and act as an advisor to resolve cross-functional issues.

Education Requirements

BS or BA degree preferred but not required; equivalent practical experience accepted. No specific field of study mandated.
