Solutions Engineering Sr. Staff Engineer - DFT/RTL Design Product Engineer

Role Summary

The Solutions Engineering Sr. Staff Engineer will work in the field of Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) and contribute to the development and validation of DFT solutions and frameworks. This role involves collaboration with R&D and product development teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of SLM solutions at various customer projects.

Experience Level

Senior level with 8 years of hands-on experience in DFT/BIST insertion, RTL design, and functional verification.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

• Working with R&D teams to develop end-to-end solutions for customers.
• Validating solutions both internally and in customer environments.
• Driving deployment of SLM solutions in customer projects.
• Enabling silicon health monitoring throughout various lifecycle stages.
• Enhancing Synopsys’ SLM and DFT IP portfolios.
• Driving adoption of solutions in the global customer base.

Requirements

Candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8 years of experience with DFT/BIST insertion and RTL design.
• Exposure to JTAG IEEE 1149.1, IEEE 1687/1500.
• Knowledge of memory defectivity, error correcting codes.
• Familiarity with Synopsys TestMAX or similar tools.
• Experience with UVM environment and flow automation.
• Understanding of synthesis and timing constraints.
• Customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Hands-on silicon debug experience is preferred.

Education Requirements

BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
