Solutions Architect - Semiconductor Simulation

Role Summary

Provide technical leadership and customer-facing support to semiconductor design and manufacturing teams in Korea to accelerate simulation and related workloads on NVIDIA platforms. You will define and deliver strategic partnerships, lead technical collaborations, and influence product direction through hands-on technical engagement.

Team: Industrial Engineering. Primary focus: semiconductor simulation, performance analysis, and integration of NVIDIA libraries and tools into customer workflows.

Experience Level

Senior-level. The role expects 5+ years of experience working with semiconductor designers/manufacturers or EDA ISVs.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include customer engagement, technical enablement, and collaboration with product and marketing teams.

  • Develop and maintain technical relationships with design and manufacturing teams at major semiconductor companies and EDA partners in Korea.
  • Analyze customer workloads to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations for latency and runtime using NVIDIA GPUs and software.
  • Integrate NVIDIA libraries and SDKs into customers' simulation workflows and provide hands-on developer support and troubleshooting.
  • Lead strategic collaborations, coordinate technical validation, and document results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present collaboration outcomes at events and coordinate with marketing on technical communications.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate relevant advancements in simulation, AI-augmented simulation, and related community research.

Requirements

Must-have technical background and domain experience; separate list of nice-to-have skills below.

  • 5+ years experience with semiconductor designers, manufacturers, or EDA ISVs (examples: Samsung, SK hynix, Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens, ASML, KLA, TSMC, Intel).
  • Proven track record developing semiconductor simulation applications that use NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA.
  • Experience applying AI techniques to traditional semiconductor simulation workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical value to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with AI physics models: developing, training, and deploying models for simulation or physics workloads.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA products and SDKs such as CUDA-X libraries, PhysicsNeMo, and Omniverse.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
