Job Title

Solutions Architect - Semiconductor Simulation

Role Summary

The Solutions Architect will work with semiconductor design and manufacturing teams to accelerate simulation workloads on NVIDIA platforms. This role combines technical engagement, partner development, developer support, and influence on product strategy within the Industrial Engineering organization.

Primary mission: identify performance bottlenecks in simulation workloads, enable GPU-accelerated solutions, and build strategic technical relationships with key customers and ISVs in Korea.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires professional experience; posting specifies 6+ years working with semiconductor designers/manufacturers or EDA ISVs.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include driving technical collaborations and accelerating customer workloads using NVIDIA technologies.

  • Develop and lead technical engagements with design and manufacturing teams at major semiconductor companies in Korea.
  • Analyze customer simulation workloads to identify latency and runtime bottlenecks and recommend GPU-acceleration approaches.
  • Guide customers in integrating NVIDIA libraries and SDKs into their simulation pipelines.
  • Lead strategic relationships with top developers and influential researchers to deliver joint technical outcomes.
  • Coordinate external promotion of collaboration results with internal marketing teams (e.g., presentations and conference sessions).
  • Continuously monitor advances in relevant technologies from both NVIDIA and the wider research community.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 6+ years of experience working with semiconductor designers/manufacturers or EDA ISVs (examples: Samsung, SK hynix, Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens, ASML, KLA, TSMC, Intel).
  • Proven track record developing semiconductor simulation applications accelerated on NVIDIA GPUs using CUDA.
  • Experience attempting to adopt AI methods into traditional semiconductor simulations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-have:

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience with AI physics models: developing, defining, training, and deploying models.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA SDKs and products such as CUDA-X libraries, PhysicsNeMo, and Omniverse.

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field preferred; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
