Role Summary

Senior technical leader in the DVT Product Engineering team responsible for defining and delivering multi-product EDA verification solutions for semiconductor customers. Acts as a strategic bridge among customers, R&D, and product teams to design holistic architectures and influence product roadmaps.

Focus areas include enterprise cross-product architectures, AI/ML-driven automation, cloud-native workflows, functional safety, and scaling solutions globally while mentoring engineering teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level role. Requires extensive leadership experience; the posting specifies 18+ years of progressive technical leadership in verification engineering, product engineering, EDA solutions architecture, or R&D management.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing, delivering, and scaling customer-centric verification solutions across products and regions.

• Architect integrated solutions spanning multiple DVT products to address complex verification workflows (e.g., unified coverage, tool integrations, low-power signoff).
• Partner with R&D and Product Line Teams to align engineering investments to tier-1 customer requirements and product roadmaps.
• Engage with executive-level customers to identify high-impact technical challenges and lead competitive displacement efforts.
• Drive technical initiatives in AI/ML-driven automation, cloud-native EDA workflows, and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
• Produce technical collateral (papers, whitepapers, keynotes, architectures) and enable global field teams and customers.
• Scale successful solutions across regions and provide technical mentorship and architectural oversight to senior application and product engineers.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role.

• 18+ years of progressive technical leadership in verification engineering, product engineering, EDA solutions architecture, or R&D within the semiconductor/EDA industry.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-product verification flows for major semiconductor customers.
• Deep expertise in simulation, formal verification, low-power verification, VIP, emulation, and advanced debug/UX.
• Practical experience with AI/ML techniques for EDA, scalable cloud orchestration, and hardware-software co-verification.
• Strong ability to translate complex customer pain points into robust, reusable enterprise solutions and lead cross-functional execution.
• Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, presentation, and project governance skills; comfortable engaging at C-suite level.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with competitive tooling landscapes (e.g., Synopsys VCS/Verdi, Cadence Xcelium/JasperGold).
• Experience authoring technical papers or delivering keynotes; prior leadership in strategic competitive displacement.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
