The role is hybrid and collaborates closely with hardware, firmware, compiler, and infrastructure teams to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Experience Level
Entry-level — new graduate (class of 2026). Suitable for recent graduates or students completing degree in 2026.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include contributing to low-level and system software that directly affects performance and reliability.
- Design, implement, test, and debug software that impacts system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to low-level software components that interact closely with hardware and network infrastructure.
- Participate in debugging, performance optimization, and system bring-up activities.
- Develop tools and infrastructure to improve observability, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate across hardware, firmware, compiler, and infrastructure teams.
- Learn and contribute across multiple software layers of an integrated AI platform.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes for successful candidates.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Interest or exposure to systems/socket programming, networking, embedded systems, operating systems, device drivers, distributed systems, or network performance.
- Desire to work close to hardware and learn low-level engineering concepts.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to understand larger system-level trade-offs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
