Role Summary

The Software Engineer II will join the Debug team within the Systems and Verification group working on Jasper formal verification GUI and debug capabilities. The role focuses on developing and validating enhancements to the GUI and associated visualization tools used in verification workflows.

Work is based in Belo Horizonte and involves cross-team collaboration with global engineering groups.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically 1+ years of professional software development experience; this posting specifies a minimum of one year.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and validate enhancements to Jasper's graphical user interface, including the Visualize waveform viewer.
• Develop features and fixes in C++ following team coding standards and testing practices.
• Collaborate with product and verification engineers to define and refine debug capabilities.
• Integrate and validate GUI components with backend verification engines and data models.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging complex issues.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• At least 1 year of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in C++.
• Good spoken and written English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with the Qt C++ framework for GUI development.
• Experience with formal verification or simulation tools.
• Familiarity with EDA and VLSI design concepts and hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
