Role Summary

Technical contributor responsible for leading and executing software and tooling projects for automotive processors. Focus is on prototyping and integrating AI-assisted tooling and model-driven workflows to simplify programming of embedded NXP devices within a global cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical leadership and hands-on implementation across cross-functional teams to produce production-quality tools and AI pipelines for embedded/automotive use cases.

• Drive project execution and technical coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate foundation models and AI-assisted tools against embedded and automotive requirements.
• Prototype and develop AI pipelines including data preprocessing, model training or fine-tuning, and integration into tools/workflows.
• Design and implement tooling to simplify programming of NXP processors (from C-embedded to MATLAB/Simulink toolchains).
• Capture, document, and share best practices and knowledge across the organization.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• Proven technical leadership and cross-team collaboration experience on software/tools projects, preferably in embedded development.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with iterative development capability.
• Proficient in Python and experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Hands-on experience using large foundation models (for example LLMs) and related toolchains (for example LangChain) and APIs to build applications, tools, or workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as AWS or Azure.
• Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).

Nice-to-have:

• Experience deploying AI solutions at scale.
• Experience with enterprise, multi-stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face libraries (Transformers, PEFT, Accelerate) and LLM fine-tuning methods.
• Experience with RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), multi-agent systems, or coding agents.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
