Join the Analyzer team to design and implement front-end compiler components for Mentor Compilers that parse and process Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL. The role focuses on C++ implementation of compiler front-end features, ensuring functional quality across platforms and contributing to performance and design documentation.

Responsibilities

Primary day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end compiler functionality, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with engineering teams.

• Design, develop, and implement front-end compiler components using C++ (and tools such as flex/bison).
• Ensure functional quality of released products across target platforms and configurations.
• Analyze complex problems and propose optimal implementation approaches.
• Create and document software designs for workflows spanning multiple product areas.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet project schedules and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide colleagues to support successful project completion.
• Contribute to overall quality and performance of the compiler front-end system.

Requirements

• Must-have: 1–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Must-have: Proficiency in C++, algorithms, and data structures.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Must-have: Working knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.
• Must-have: Experience developing front-end EDA or compiler-related software.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with flex/bison parser generators.
• Nice-to-have: Understanding of gate-level digital logic design.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of parallel algorithms and job distribution techniques.

Education Requirements
