Role Summary
Develop and maintain simulation and modeling software for optical proximity correction (OPC) and resolution enhancement technology (RET) used in lithography. The role sits on the Calibre OPC and RET Modeling R&D team and reports to the Modeling R&D Director.
Work involves applying electromagnetic and optical physics to practical lithography problems and delivering production-quality C++ software and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include design, implementation, analysis, and documentation of lithography modeling software.
- Simulate and analyze electromagnetic and optical physics applicable to lithography modeling.
- Investigate enhancement requests and defects; propose and implement solutions with the team.
- Implement production-ready C++ software and produce functional specifications and documentation.
- Perform detailed, quantitative analysis of software performance and modeling quality.
- Prepare and present technical findings and proposals to peers and management.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Practical understanding of electromagnetic and optical physics as applied to lithography modeling.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++ and experience delivering production code.
- Data analysis experience using Matlab or Python.
- Comfortable working in Linux and familiar with standard office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to compile technical information into clear documents and presentations.

Education Requirements
