Role Summary

Part-time internship supporting training and product development in hardware security. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to support projects, services, and product development related to hardware/IP security and EDA tools.

Responsibilities include researching hardware security topics, assisting with training materials, and helping develop EDA tooling under engineer supervision.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Internship). Targeted at current graduate students; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include research, training support, tool development, and documentation:

• Research hardware security and IP/SoC design topics.
• Assist in creating training materials for industry partners.
• Support development of EDA tools for hardware security.
• Review, update, and refine legacy materials for clarity and accuracy.
• Provide technical support to ongoing projects, services, and product development in coordination with the engineering team.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

• Knowledge of digital design and verification concepts.
• Proficiency with hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog).
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with VLSI SoC design process and hardware security topics.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
