SOC Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The SOC Verification Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices in Hyderabad, India, will be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of tests for functional and performance verification of core components. Experience Level

The ideal candidate will possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in design verification.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Developing and maintaining tests for functional and performance verification at the core level.
• Building testbench components to support next-generation IP.
• Maintaining and enhancing current test libraries to facilitate IP-level testing.
• Creating hardware emulation builds to verify IP functional performance.
• Enhancing the current hardware emulation environment to improve runtime performance and debug capabilities.
• Providing technical support to other engineering teams.

Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate passion for architecture and verification. Strong communication skills and collaboration experience with teams in different locations are critical. Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities are essential.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
