SoC Test Engineer

The SoC Test Engineer will be responsible for product testing in the automotive environment, ensuring quality, cost, and productivity improvements. The engineer will lead testing activities from specification design to mass production setup, collaborating with operational partners.
Experience Level
Mid-level; requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor product evaluation or related fields.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Conducting product testing for automotive SoC products including 3nm/7nm devices.
- Design and validate testing specifications and characteristics of LSI.
- Develop test programs and tools using LSI testers, from shipping selection to mass production and product evaluation.
- Manage test development activities from planning through execution during the transition to mass production.
- Select and launch devices and OSAT to achieve automotive quality standards.
- Lead product integration.
Requirements
Must-have skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in evaluating semiconductor products or deploying LSI testers.
- Experience in test programming and debugging, along with the ability to analyze measurement results to propose improvements.
- Fluency in Japanese at a native level.
- Conversational level of English.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience in programming languages such as C or C++.
- Knowledge of semiconductor reliability technologies.
