SoC System Level Test Product Development Engineer

Role Summary

The SoC System Level Test Product Development Engineer will be part of the Silicon Technologies group, focusing on designing and manufacturing next-generation, high-performance system-on-chip (SoC) processors. The role involves driving the design and deployment of new test hardware and systems, ensuring the quality and availability of required hardware.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop System Level Test (SLT) programs from NPI to HVM for Apple SOCs.
• Lead SLT deployment at OSATs, collaborating with GSM and Test Engineering teams.
• Work with internal Test teams on diagnosing and resolving silicon and hardware issues.
• Manage suppliers for the delivery and installation of new SLT equipment and test accessories.
• Support tool qualification activities with vendors and various Apple teams.
• Evaluate new products' testability in coordination with internal and external teams.
• Drive multiple suppliers and Contract Manufacturers, hosting regular tracking meetings.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing test solutions.
• Deep understanding of SOC architectures and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Experience in deploying test solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl) and high-level languages (C#/C/C++ or Visual Basic with .NET).
• Knowledge of SOC debug, validation, and interface with digital and mixed signal products.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in overseas manufacturing contexts.
• Good communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus 3 years of related experience.
