Job Title

SoC Program Manager

Role Summary

Lead and own the planning, execution, and delivery of System-on-Chip (SoC) programs. The role manages schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, risks and program indicators while coordinating across multiple engineering functions.

Part of the Program Management function within Engineering Services, working closely with Design, DV, DFT, Physical Design, System Emulation and other stakeholders from concept through tapeout and commercialization.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 7+ years of Program Management or related experience. Preference stated for extensive semiconductor industry experience (e.g., 15+ years overall with significant program/project management background).

Responsibilities

Manage the full program lifecycle for complex SoC projects and drive cross-functional alignment and delivery.

  • Define, scope, plan and execute SoC programs across multiple functional teams.
  • Track program milestones, KPIs (power, performance, cost), schedules and NRE.
  • Support NPI activities from concept review through tapeout to commercialization.
  • Drive regular execution reviews, update executive management, and coordinate cross-functional reviews (technology, IP, process).
  • Act as custodian for risk, schedule, quality, compliance and budget control.
  • Maintain and update project dashboards weekly; manage checklist closure and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and communicate program vision and objectives.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred practical skills and experience for effective delivery.

  • Must-have: 7+ years of Program Management or related work experience with proven ability to manage complex hardware/SoC programs.
  • Proven stakeholder management and strong interpersonal and communication skills across levels.
  • Experience tracking and reporting program KPIs, schedules, risks, budgets and NRE.
  • Proficiency with common office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and dashboards.

Nice-to-have:

  • Extensive semiconductor industry experience (preferred: 15+ years overall, with minimum years in PM noted).
  • Familiarity with SoC design cycle and processes from design to customer deployment.
  • Exposure to domains such as IoT, wireless/mobile or automotive.
  • Experience with AI-driven reporting and dashboard creation; process definition and implementation; proven leadership/management track record.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is specified.
