Responsibilities
The role focuses on designing and executing verification strategies for complex SoCs and subsystems.
- Architect and implement SoC-, subsystem-, and IP-level verification environments and testbenches.
- Develop verification plans, create tests, and build assertions and checkers.
- Perform system-level and boot-flow verification including CPU and power-management scenarios.
- Verify industry-standard interfaces and protocols (AXI, AHB, CHI, PCIe, USB, LPDDR4/5, QUPSS, etc.).
- Execute waveform debugging and root-cause analysis; coordinate fixes with design and firmware teams.
- Automate verification flows and scripting for regression and productivity improvements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and domain experience.
- Extensive SoC design verification experience, including SoC-level testbench architecture and test plan creation.
- Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and SVA.
- Strong understanding of CPU architectures (RISC-V, ARM), interconnect/NoC concepts, and power-aware verification methodologies.
- Experience with protocols and interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, USB 3.x/4, LPDDR4/5, eMMC, SD, UFS, QUP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL, Bash) for automation.
- Experience with waveform debugging tools (e.g., Verdi) and strong debugging/root-cause analysis skills.
