SoC FV/CLP Engineer
QualcommJob Title
SoC FV/CLP Engineer
Role Summary
Join Qualcomm's hardware verification team to support logical signoff and low-power structural verification for complex SoC and IP designs. The role focuses on low-power verification flows, equivalence checking, debugging verification failures, and collaborating across design, verification, and implementation teams to achieve signoff.
Experience Level
Mid-level - candidate should have approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in logical signoff and low-power verification.
Responsibilities
The engineer will own verification tasks and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues for signoff.
- Perform low-power structural verification and logical signoff for SoC and IP designs.
- Develop and execute power-aware verification strategies using UPF/CPF and SystemVerilog.
- Use and debug low-power verification tools (e.g., Cadence Conformal Low Power, Synopsys VCLP).
- Run and troubleshoot Logic Equivalence Checking (LEC) and power-aware LEC; analyze and close failures.
- Collaborate with synthesis, place-and-route, design and verification teams to resolve issues and drive signoff.
- Document verification findings and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in logical signoff and low-power structural verification for SoC/IP development.
- Hands-on experience with low-power design and verification using UPF/CPF and SystemVerilog.
- Practical experience with low-power verification tools such as Cadence Conformal Low Power (CLP) or Synopsys VCLP.
- Experience with Logic Equivalence Checking (LEC) and power-aware LEC; strong debugging and failure analysis skills.
- Ability to debug CLP/VCLP and LEC tool issues and drive closure.
- Strong collaboration skills to work across design, verification, and implementation teams.
