The SoC Frontend Integration Engineer will be responsible for driving the frontend integration of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) FPGA designs. This role involves owning top-level SoC RTL integration and ensuring quality, scalability, and robustness across multiple IPs and subsystems, collaborating with various teams including architecture, IP design, and post-silicon teams.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Constructing SoC frontend RTL integration by assembling internal and third-party IPs into top-level SoC designs.
- Owning SoC top-level RTL, hierarchy, connectivity, and scalability strategy.
- Driving SoC-level frontend quality checks and closure.
- Partnering closely with verification teams to enable SoC-level simulation, emulation, and regression environments.
- Collaborating with software teams to enable integration of SoC into Quartus.
- Providing high-quality frontend handoff for various checkouts like physical integration and reliability assessments.
- Debugging and resolving complex integration issues across RTL, verification, and downstream flows.
- Reviewing IP deliverables and influencing interfaces, clocking, reset, and power requirements.
- Promoting SoC integration best practices and continuously improving integration flows, automation, and documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with RTL design and integration using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Solid understanding of SoC architectures and IP-based design methodologies.
- Experience running and debugging frontend quality checks (lint, CDC, RDC).
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment and using scripting languages (Perl, Python, Tcl, or Shell).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Knowledge in AI/ML SoC to improve productivity in SoC Integration is advantageous.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
