SOC Emulation Validation Engineer
Role Summary
The SOC Emulation Validation Engineer will work on Intel's next generation Client CPU SoC, focusing on validation strategies before productization into physical chips. This role involves close collaboration with design teams to ensure the functionality of the full chip through various testing methodologies.
Experience Level
Experienced Hire; at least 5 years of relevant experience required.
Responsibilities
The role involves the following key responsibilities:
- Creating emulation models from Register Transfer Level (RTL) designs.
- Defining and documenting RTL changes necessary for emulation models.
- Developing hardware and software collaterals integrated with emulation models.
- Testing and debugging emulation models and collateral.
- Developing new capabilities and HW/SW tools for RTL acceleration and usability improvements.
- Guiding validation teams for optimizing their validation environments.
- Applying automation aids, flows, and scripts for improving emulation usability.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- BS/MS in Electronics/Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in emulation.
Education Requirements
BS/MS in Electronics/Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science is essential.
