Role Summary
As a SoC Design Verification Engineer at AMD, you will be integral to enhancing our capabilities in delivering cutting-edge technologies. The position requires a keen understanding of complex processor architectures and a commitment to ensuring the functionality and performance of our designs.

This position is suited for professionals with relevant experience in design verification, particularly those with a background in processor architecture and digital design.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining tests for functional and performance verification at the SOC level.
- Building testbench components to facilitate the next generation of IP.
- Maintaining or improving current test libraries to enhance IP level testing.
- Closing verification quality metrics such as pass rates, code coverage, and functional coverage.
- Providing technical support to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Strong coding skills in Verilog/System Verilog, UVM, C/C++, and scripting languages like Perl/Python.
- Good understanding of SOC architecture, with knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as AXI, AHB, PCIE, DDR.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a self-motivated approach to work.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required for this position.
