Role Summary
Work in Arm's Solution Engineering division to specify, design, verify and support SoC products. The role involves close collaboration with on-site teams and other internal groups to deliver subsystems and complete SoC designs.
Contribute to next-generation Arm-based SoC solutions used across the industry.

Responsibilities
Deliver SoC subsystems from specification through implementation, verification, and support. Key responsibilities include:
- Integrate complex IP blocks such as CPU clusters, PCIe, DDR/LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet and other high-speed I/O.
- Write micro-architecture specifications, develop RTL, fix bugs, and run design checks.
- Work with verification to analyse test plans and debug design issues.
- Support backend implementation activities including floorplanning, constraints, and timing closure.
- Improve design methodologies, quality standards, metrics, and inspection processes.
- Guide and support team members and assist project management with plans and schedules.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Practical experience integrating subsystems for PCIe, DDR/LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
- RTL design experience using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog for SoC development.
- Proficiency with static design checks (lint, CDC, RDC), synthesis, timing analysis, power management, and power/clock domain crossing.
- Exposure to all design stages: concept, specification, implementation, power/performance analysis, optimisation, testing, and documentation.
- Ability to produce specifications and technical documentation for complex designs.
- Shell scripting skills (Tcl, Perl, Python, or similar).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Arm-based designs and Arm system architectures.
- High-level programming in C/C++ or assembly; experience with embedded operating systems and device drivers.
- Experience with microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures.
