Job Title
SOC Design Engineer
Role Summary
Work on front-end SoC integration and SOC assembly for Tegra system-on-chip products. Own RTL integration, pinmux/padring interaction, and chip-level front-end design work, and collaborate with architecture, physical design, CAD, package, DFT and verification teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early-career β 2+ years of relevant chip design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include integration, execution tracking, and methodology development for SOC front-end and assembly.
- Drive SOC assembly and design of chip-level front-end functions for Tegra SOCs.
- Perform front-end design quality and correctness checks; lead reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Manage SOC execution across chip milestones; define, track, and drive complex dependencies with multiple teams.
- Define and develop system-level methodologies, tools, and IP to improve SOC development efficiency and scalability.
- Identify inefficiencies in front-end chip implementation and propose and implement solutions and automation.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience, plus desirable bonuses.
- 2+ years of proven chip design experience, specializing in SoC integration and design automation.
- RTL design experience (Verilog) and familiarity with SoC design/implementation flows.
- Strong scripting skills (Perl, Python, or similar) for automation and methodology development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work across teams.
- Familiarity with RTL build flows and Makefiles.

Nice-to-have: padring and fuse/floorsweep design experience; background in SoC verification, synthesis, physical design, and DFT.
Education Requirements
B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics Engineering.
