SMTS Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Rambus is seeking a SMTS Verification Engineer to join their Memory Interface chips team in Bangalore. This role involves developing products that enhance data speed and security. The engineer will be responsible for DDR verification from design understanding to validation support post-tapeout.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Understanding product requirements from specifications.
  • Planning and executing to meet verification sign-off criteria.
  • Developing test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure using UVM methodology.
  • Guiding and mentoring the team to meet sign-off requirements.
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, and post-silicon teams.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in System Verilog and UVM.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Experience in all verification aspects from design understanding to sign-off.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with I2C/I3C Protocol & DDR3/4/5 memory protocols (preferred).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics.
