SMTS System Architect - Analog & Mixed Signal Products

Role Summary

Serve as the technical lead and chief architect for Analog ASSP product families, defining long-term product and technology strategy and driving system architecture decisions across multiple product generations.

Lead cross-functional engineering teams, engage with customers and partners, and advance product roadmaps through technical innovation and practical tradeoffs.

Experience Level

Senior β€” 8+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include system architecture, roadmap strategy, and cross-functional technical leadership.

  • Define and drive long-term product and technology roadmaps for Analog ASSP solutions.
  • Lead system architecture development for PMICs, motor drivers, protection, and battery management.
  • Own system-level tradeoffs across performance, power, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and functional safety.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across design, validation, product engineering, manufacturing, and applications.
  • Drive product differentiation through innovation, competitive benchmarking, and technology assessments.
  • Act as senior technical interface for strategic customers and partners.
  • Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across sites and organizations.
  • Perform work in a safe and compliant manner and support applicable EHS&S programs.

Requirements

Must-have technical expertise, program leadership, and customer-facing communication skills.

  • 8+ years in the semiconductor industry with a track record of leading complex product developments and delivering business impact.
  • Expert knowledge of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor systems.
  • Strong background in power management, sensing, signal conditioning, and data conversion.
  • Experience developing technology roadmaps and defining strategic products.
  • Proven technical leadership of complex cross-functional programs.
  • Customer-facing architecture leadership and executive-level communication skills.
  • Demonstrated innovation and IP generation; ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Fluent in English.

Education Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
