Role Summary

The SMTS Process Engineer at AMD is tasked with researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems primarily for semiconductor manufacturing. This role entails leading diagnosis and failure analysis of silicon and other device failures while coordinating failure analysis efforts across various teams. The engineer will be involved in statistical analysis to identify root causes and drive projects vital to the technical landscape of semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Applicants must possess a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field, coupled with four years of pertinent experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with six years of relevant experience is acceptable. The candidate should have proficiency in semiconductor processes, fault isolation, integrated circuit design tools, scripting in languages such as TCL or Python, and advanced data analysis practices.
