Role Summary

The System Level Test (SLT) Program Manager oversees SLT program execution for multiple concurrent XPU customer programs across US and Asia sites. The role combines program management, on-site production leadership, and technical ownership of test methodology and equipment evaluation.

Primary responsibilities include schedule and risk management, coordinating distributed teams, driving production ramps, and enabling test methodology transitions from R&D to production.

Responsibilities

Accountable for SLT delivery, production leadership, and test-methodology adoption across distributed sites.

• Own end-to-end SLT execution for multiple XPU programs from silicon bring-up through production ramp and sustained volume operations.
• Drive weekly program status, risk tracking, customer commitments, and escalate critical blockers promptly with mitigation recommendations.
• Translate customer test specifications and quality gates into actionable SLT plans; own electrical test coverage sign-off and escape-rate targets.
• Prioritize portfolio requests when resources compete; present trade-offs and risks for leadership resolution.
• Lead on-site production coordination at Asia sites (periodic travel) to resolve operational blockers and ensure schedule and quality adherence.
• Forecast SLT capacity, optimize equipment utilization, manage shift planning, and maintain tooling/readiness to maximize test-floor uptime.
• Evaluate and pilot new test techniques and ATE equipment; drive transition of methodologies from US R&D to Asia production.
• Lead root-cause analysis for yield misses, test escapes, and schedule delays; own corrective actions and yield improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Design/DFT, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality to surface bottlenecks and ensure shipment readiness.

Requirements

• 12+ years of related experience, including program leadership and production responsibility.
• 9+ years in semiconductor test engineering or test operations (SLT, probe, or production test).
• 3–5 years of program or operations leadership with schedule, cost, or quality accountability.
• Hands-on expertise in ATE programming, test methodology, yield debugging, and SLT tool flows.
• Proven track record shipping 2+ high-volume programs from bring-up through ramp.
• Experience working with distributed, cross-geographic teams and managing asynchronous collaboration across time zones.
• Strong project management discipline: risk tracking, escalation, forecasting, and decision documentation.
• Proficiency in test data analysis, yield correlation, and statistical methods.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally to Asia production sites; strong communication skills with engineers, operations, customers, and leadership.

Nice-to-have

• Deep experience with XPU, high-performance computing, or networking ASICs.
• Familiarity with 3nm or other advanced process nodes.
• Background with hyperscaler or cloud customers and urgency-driven environments.
• Track record evaluating and implementing new test technologies, advanced margining, Vmin stress, multi-site protocols, or similar techniques.
• On-site production operations or factory management and offshore team management experience.
• Knowledge of test software stacks and automation frameworks.

Education Requirements
