Role Summary
The Silicon Test Engineer will be part of the Product Development and Test Engineering group focusing on design validation, characterization, and production deployment of advanced IPs for 5G products using FinFET semiconductor technologies.
Experience Level
Mid-level, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant fields.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating ATE to validate and debug new product functionality.
- Testing hardware/software development.
- Characterizing across corner conditions.
- Releasing cost-effective production test solutions for mass manufacturing.
- Collaborating with IC Design, Software, Systems, and Operations engineering teams.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in product development, test validation, and high-volume production activities related to System on Chip (SoC).
- Experience with measurement test equipment.
- Proficiency in Python/C++/Java.
- Hands-on experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation software.
Nice-to-have qualifications include:
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne).
- Knowledge in VLSI technologies including digital design and CPU architecture.
- Familiarity with data analysis software.
- Experience in Design for Test (DFT) techniques.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field is required.
