Silicon Photonics Technology Development and Integration Engineer — 2027 New College Graduate
Join the 300mm technology development integration team at GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta, NY. The role owns silicon photonics process integration modules from development and qualification through customer engagement and production.
The engineer will monitor technology performance, design experiments and analyze technical data to improve yield, process stability (Cp/Cpk), defectivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
Entry-level — new college graduate program. Intended for recent graduates (0–2 years professional experience) joining a full-time development role.
Main responsibilities include development, qualification, and production support for silicon photonics process integration.

Graduating with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related technical field from an accredited program. Minimum overall GPA 3.0. Coursework or research experience in silicon photonics, optics, semiconductor processing, device physics, or process integration is preferred.
