Silicon IP Program Manager
Role Summary
Manage customer-facing IP delivery programs across analog IP, digital IP, and SoC integration from kickoff through post-silicon support. Coordinate cross-functional global teams to ensure schedules, milestones, and deliverables are met while minimizing integration risk.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience and significant program management responsibility.
Responsibilities
Deliver and report on program outcomes, coordinate teams, and remove blockers to enable customer tape-outs.
- Serve as primary customer contact throughout IP program delivery.
- Own statements of work, program schedules, milestones, and deliverables for analog/digital IP and SoC integration efforts.
- Coordinate cross-functional global teams including design, verification, applications, and sales.
- Identify technical, resource, and schedule risks early and drive mitigation plans.
- Report program health and blockers to internal leadership and customers to drive action.
- Support post-silicon issues and ensure closure of escalations.
Requirements
Must-have technical program management skills and domain knowledge for semiconductor IP delivery.
- Proven program management experience in SoC design, analog IP, or digital IP development.
- Direct experience managing customer-facing programs owning schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows and IP integration challenges.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across geographies without direct authority.
- Skilled at spotting schedule/dependency risks and driving pragmatic mitigations.
- Clear communicator who can escalate appropriately and close the loop on issues.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent practical experience. Related technical fields (electrical/computer engineering, computer science, physics, or similar) are acceptable.
