Role Summary

The Silicon Design Engineer 2 will join the ASIC Verification team at Advanced Micro Devices in Santa Clara, California. This role involves verifying the design and implementation of memory system components for leading GPUs, working closely with skilled architects, designers, and verification teams.

Experience Level

Mid-level, typically requiring 2-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Be a key member of the ASIC Verification team, verifying design components in leading GPUs.
• Test plan and execute tests for various features.
• Develop and enhance UVM testbench components, including test cases and monitors.
• Drive debug and closure of regression signatures, collaborating with RTL designers.
• Develop quality solutions independently, contributing to a reliable and flexible verification environment.
• Develop AI tools to improve verification flow.

Requirements

Must-have requirements include:

• BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science (GPA 3.5+).
• Exposure to Computer Architecture, ASIC design, and verification methodology.
• Good understanding of RTL design (Verilog/System Verilog).
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming with C++ and/or SystemVerilog.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
