Signal and Power Integrity Lead Application Engineer

Role Summary

Work with Sales Account Managers and field application engineers to deliver technical support for high-speed signal and power integrity across IC, package, and PCB design flows. Provide workshops, product demonstrations, training, onsite customer support, and act as a technical lead on projects.

Focus on applying EDA tools to diagnose and solve signal, power, electromagnetic, and thermal issues and to ensure customer success.

Responsibilities

Provide customer-facing technical engineering and leadership across signal and power integrity domains.

  • Deliver workshops, product demonstrations, training, and onsite technical support for customers.
  • Work closely with Sales Account Managers and field application engineers to support technical campaigns and pre/post-sales activities.
  • Analyze customer environments and recommend appropriate engineering solutions for SI, PI, EM, and thermal problems.
  • Take technical lead on projects and coordinate with R&D, Product Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Anticipate technical issues and develop proactive, creative solutions.
  • Present solutions clearly to individuals and to medium-to-large groups.
  • Work onsite with customers without supervision when required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; candidate should be able to apply these independently in customer engagements.

  • In-depth EDA industry knowledge and strong background in Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), electromagnetics, thermal analysis, and RF related to package and PCB design.
  • Practical experience with Cadence Allegro platform tools such as Sigrity, Clarity, Celsius, PCB Editor, IC Package, or equivalent competitor tools.
  • Ability to understand high-speed, high-performance SI/PI issues and translate them into engineering solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across R&D, product, sales, and customers.
  • Ability to travel and work onsite with customers as needed.
  • Preferred: authorization to work in the United States (US citizen or Green Card preferred).

Education Requirements
