Collaborate with ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Package Design, Software, DFT, verification, and other cross-functional teams to deliver tapeout-ready designs and integrations.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 7+ years of chip design or ASIC integration experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver SOC-level integration tasks and support flows that enable chip assembly and handoff to downstream teams.

  • Implement chip-level designs through cross-functional collaboration (Functional Design, DFT, Design Verification, System Verification, STA, Physical Design).
  • Perform RTL integration, partitioning, and trial synthesis for complex designs.
  • Debug functional and structural issues; resolve design quality problems impacting implementation.
  • Work on CDC/RDC analysis and readiness for physical design and emulation.
  • Participate in development and deployment of integration and automation flows.
  • Coordinate with physical design, emulation, firmware and other downstream consumers to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes for the role.

  • Strong hands-on RTL design and integration skills in SystemVerilog.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, Tcl).
  • Practical experience with SOC integration tasks: partitioning, synthesis trials, design quality checks.
  • Familiarity with CDC/RDC issues and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and communicate technical status clearly; strong teamwork skills.
  • Attention to quality and delivery-focused execution.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience delivering IPs or integrations to physical design, emulation, or firmware teams.
