Job Title

Senior Verification Engineer, PCIe

Role Summary

Verify RTL, micro-architecture, golden models and architecture of PCIe controllers at IP and sub-system levels. Build verification infrastructure and tests to ensure correctness of designs used in NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs.

Work closely with architects, designers and pre-/post-silicon teams to deliver robust, coverage-driven verification environments.

Experience Level

Senior β€” 5+ years of relevant verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing verification plans, implementing verification infrastructure, and executing comprehensive verification campaigns.

  • Define verification scope and develop test plans and testbenches for IP and sub-system verification.
  • Implement reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards.
  • Develop constrained-random tests and functional coverage models; follow coverage-driven methodology.
  • Use UVM/VMM-style methodologies and industry-standard simulation/debug tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and silicon teams to debug and close verification gaps.

Requirements

Key technical skills and experience required.

  • Verification experience at unit, sub-system or SoC level; strong knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Expertise in verification of IP or interconnect protocols (PCIe, USB, SATA, etc.).
  • Experience developing and running constrained-random, coverage-based verification environments.
  • Familiarity with DV methodologies (UVM/VMM) and standard simulation/debug toolflows.
  • Good debugging, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Nice-to-have: scripting experience (Perl, Python) and knowledge of PCIe Gen3+ and system-level PCIE/CXL architecture.

Education Requirements

B.Tech. / M.Tech. or equivalent experience.
