Senior Verification Engineer - High-Speed Coherent Interconnect Hub
Role Summary
As a Senior Verification Engineer on the Tegra SoC IP Verification team, you will define verification strategies and implement verification environments to validate high-speed coherent interconnect hub IP for multi-chip computing platforms. You will coordinate with architecture, design, FPGA/emulation, software, and post-silicon teams to achieve functional and performance signoff.
Experience Level
Senior. The posting requests 3+ years of ASIC verification experience; the role expects experience leading verification of complex IP or SoC subsystems.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain verification infrastructure: testbenches, BFMs, checkers, monitors, scoreboards, and assertions.
- Create constrained-random stimulus and coverage-driven verification components.
- Define and execute verification test plans for coherency protocol, ordering, error handling, and performance.
- Verify protocol compliance and interoperability across SoC and multi-chip interfaces.
- Develop and run performance tests to validate bandwidth, latency, QoS, and traffic management.
- Drive functional and code coverage closure and provide verification signoff.
- Debug complex RTL and verification issues and coordinate resolution with architecture and design teams.
- Collaborate with FPGA, emulation, software, and post-silicon teams to support system validation and silicon bring-up.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 3+ years of ASIC verification experience with complex IPs or SoC subsystems.
- Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience; expertise in constrained-random and coverage-driven verification methodologies.
- Experience developing verification environments, checkers, assertions, and functional coverage.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience verifying high-speed coherent interconnects, NoCs, or other complex SoC infrastructure IP.
- Knowledge of coherent interconnect protocols such as CHI and AXI, cache coherency, and transaction ordering.
- Experience with performance verification (bandwidth, latency, QoS) and traffic management.
- Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS/MS) in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
