Verify CPU/SoC microarchitecture and system-level features across simulators, FPGA, and silicon. Work on verification environments spanning unit, subsystem, and full-chip testbenches and partner closely with architects and cross-functional teams.

Focus is on developing and executing robust verification plans and driving issues to resolution across software simulator and silicon bring-up stages.

Experience Level

Senior β€” the posting requests 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop, maintain, and run verification environments for unit, subsystem, and full-chip levels, including FPGA and silicon bring-up.
  • Verify micro-architecture and architectural features, and implement coverage-driven tests.
  • Collaborate with CPU architects to produce verifiable designs and close verification gaps.
  • Create and validate end-to-end sequences on software simulators and on silicon with full software stacks.
  • Debug failures across simulation and silicon and drive root-cause analysis and fixes.
  • Coordinate with geographically distributed, multi-functional teams to integrate verification results and requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience (concise):

  • Strong verification fundamentals and hands-on verification experience.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with CPU architecture and coherent fabric designs; ability to work across software simulators and silicon.
  • Strong debugging skills across simulation and hardware environments.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience verifying CPU microarchitecture units, interconnects, or system memory coherency.
  • Prior work on complex coverage-driven verification projects.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. The posting specifies 3+ years of relevant experience as an alternative to formal degree requirements.
