Senior Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Work in Arm's Solutions Engineering team to develop and verify SoC-level designs integrating CPUs, GPUs, memory controllers, interconnects and other IP. Responsible for validating system operation and hardware–software interaction to deliver production-quality silicon for partners.
Hybrid role based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. No relocation package is offered; Arm will meet employer-side sponsorship costs but visa application fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge are the candidate's responsibility.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute SoC verification test plans and verification methodologies.
- Perform functional verification to required quality and schedule targets.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, implementation, modelling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA and board teams.
- Track verification progress, report quality checkpoints, and coordinate with project leads and management.
- Develop testbenches, implement test cases, and produce verification documentation and support materials.
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers (senior-specific responsibility).
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Proven experience in embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
- Strong understanding of assembly language (preferably ARM).
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python, etc.).
- Hands-on UVM experience and experience in at least one of: formal verification, low-power verification, or emulation.
- Practical experience verifying processor-based system designs and exposure to full verification stages (requirements, methodology, testbench, test case implementation, documentation).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with Arm system architectures.
- Experience with power-aware design and Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) verification.
- Familiarity with embedded OS, device drivers, and hardware/software integration.
- Experience verifying subsystems and interfaces such as PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, and Ethernet, and deploying large SoCs on emulation or FPGA platforms.
