Role Summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced technical leader for the role of Senior Validation Architect, responsible for defining advanced chip interconnects and protocols, particularly focusing on NVLink technology. The role involves collaboration with various teams to define next-generation communications standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Experience Level

Senior level; at least 8 years of relevant experience in architecture, design, and verification.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Defining architectural modeling and testing requirements for new NVLink features.
  • Driving architectural testing requirements into lower-level testbenches.
  • Implementing functional models and integrating them into full chip and multi-chip environments.
  • Supporting and debugging tests in model, emulation, and post-silicon environments.

Requirements

Must-have requirements:

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in architecture, design, and verification.
  • Experience with innovative ASIC design processes.
  • Proficiency in C++ and scripting languages like Python and Makefile.
  • Strong debugging skills in firmware/software environments.
  • Experience in test plan development and execution.
  • Completed and shipped multiple projects related to processor and/or I/O architecture.

Nice-to-have requirements:

  • SystemC modeling experience.
  • Effective collaboration skills as a self-starter in a dynamic team environment.

Education Requirements

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
