Senior Test Product Engineer
Role Summary
Manage production support and new product introduction for assigned semiconductor products after transfer to in-house or outsourced manufacturing. Act as the technical interface between design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to resolve product and production issues.
Primary mission is to maintain and improve test and probe production yield, test quality and productivity through debugging, analytical studies, process improvements and qualification of test systems and equipment.
Experience Level
Senior — minimum 5 years of relevant sustaining test product engineering experience.
Responsibilities
The role owns day-to-day test-floor and wafer-probe support, leads debugging and yield-improvement efforts, and manages qualification and change approvals for new test tools and processes.
- Support daily production issues on test floor and wafer probe, including low-yield analysis, disposition, and setup failure debug (hardware and software).
- Perform detailed analytical studies and coordinate with product engineering to implement corrective actions (test program, hardware, setup).
- Lead productivity and yield improvement projects: reduce test time, remove/insert tests, and convert legacy testers.
- Support new product release buyoff for test systems and perform manufacturing-focused validation and qualification.
- Lead introduction and qualification of new tools/equipment/test processes and manage change-control approvals within the manufacturing organization.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required: Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, or a related technical field (Bachelor's degree level specified).
