Senior Test Process Engineer

Role Summary

This position supports manufacturing operations in a high-volume 300mm wafer fabrication environment focused on analog technologies. The role drives process and procedure improvements, supports production ramp and equipment/process startup, and participates in data-driven problem resolution.

The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to improve yields, efficiency, machine operations and product quality through project execution and continuous improvement activities.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 5 years of relevant experience in test process engineering in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting production and leading process improvement efforts:

• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations in test/process areas.
• Develop and implement improved manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes to increase efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Plan and execute projects for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, quality programs, and new product support.
• Perform lot and equipment dispositions to maintain continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a 300mm wafer fab.
• Identify systematic process or equipment issues and communicate findings to engineering and operations teams.
• Support manufacturing ramp activities, including equipment/process startup and process experiments (SWRs).
• Participate in data analysis and root-cause problem resolution.

Requirements

Key skills and experience required or preferred for success in the role.

• Must-have: 5+ years of experience in test/process engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Must-have: Strong foundation in statistical process control (SPC), engineering change control, and process release strategies.
• Must-have: Experience with data analysis and systematic problem solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across functions and build influential relationships.
• Nice-to-have: Proven time-management skills, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
