Senior Test Methodology Engineer
Role Summary
Member of the Operations Engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective ATE test methods for new IC products. The role focuses on test methodology development, test program and tooling work, and production test support.
Experience Level
Senior-level β typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include development, optimization, and support of ATE test methods and related tooling.
- Design and implement ATE test methods for new IC products.
- Improve and optimize test methodology for existing solutions.
- Debug and develop ATE test method code.
- Develop and debug scripting tools and web-based test tools.
- Investigate and resolve production or test throughput issues related to methodology.
- Present technical findings and prepare content for developers and technical audiences.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- 5+ years of related working experience in test methodology or ATE engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Advantest 93K ATE or equivalent ATE platforms.
- Proficiency in programming with C/C++ or Java.
- Strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- English communication skills and experience presenting to technical audiences.
Nice-to-have:
- Understanding of DFT techniques such as SCAN, ATPG, MBIST, and IOBIST.
- Project management or team leadership experience.
- Experience with scripting, web tools, or production test automation.
Education Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (e.g., Electrical, Computer, or related technical fields).
