Senior Test Engineer
Role Summary
Contribute to electrical- and platform-level validation of server platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans that verify product functionality, electrical specifications, and production requirements. Perform software stack and use-case testing, debug hardware and software issues, identify root cause, and drive resolution.
Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and system engineering; produce test specifications, strategies, and summaries; and support test automation efforts. Travel: No.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute validation test plans for server platforms at electrical and platform levels.
- Verify adherence to electrical specifications and production requirements.
- Execute software stack and real-world use-case testing on Linux and Windows.
- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution across hardware and software layers.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering teams.
- Author and maintain test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies.
- Track, summarize, and report test results and quality metrics.
- Contribute to test automation and tooling to improve validation efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Hardware and software verification experience.
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles and server systems.
- Unix/Linux environments and Linux internals; knowledge of Windows internals.
- Scripting experience: Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Understanding of GPU, SoC, or CPU architecture.
- Software debugging on macOS, Linux, or Unix.
- Version control with Git.
Education Requirements
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in those fields plus two years of relevant post-baccalaureate experience.
