Role Summary
Drive execution and delivery of cross-functional projects spanning ASIC/VLSI and software teams. The role coordinates schedules, risks, procurement, and reporting to ensure on-time delivery of complex hardware and software milestones.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 8+ years of project/program management experience; experience in semiconductor/ASIC/VLSI startups preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage planning, tracking, and reporting for multi-domain engineering projects.
- Plan and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables across ASIC, VLSI, and software domains.
- Run regular project reviews, stand-ups, and cross-functional syncs.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers; escalate as needed.
- Coordinate with engineering leads to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and technical operations for hardware projects.
- Generate dashboards, reports, and KPIs to communicate project health to management.
- Improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
Must-have technical and management skills for executing hardware/software engineering programs.
- 8+ years of project/program management experience; semiconductor/ASIC/VLSI startup experience preferred.
- Basic Linux and scripting skills (bash, Python, or similar).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Asana).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong analytical and risk-management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
