Senior Technical Program Manager - Silicon Co-Design
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group to lead technical programs that span architecture, silicon, systems, and manufacturing. The role owns SoC program outcomes from architecture through tape-out, bring-up, and productization, coordinating cross-functional teams to remove integration and logistics blockers.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 12+ years in technical roles with at least 5 years in technical program management, including ownership of SoC programs through bring-up and productization.
Responsibilities
The role is accountable for delivery, not only coordination. Key responsibilities include:
- Own program outcomes end-to-end: define and manage schedules, surface dependencies, and drive multi-functional alignment from architecture review through tape-out and bring-up.
- Participate in design reviews, identify scope and integration risks early, and make trade-off decisions to keep programs on track.
- Serve as the technical link across silicon, systems, software, operations, and product/marketing to maintain alignment on goals and GTM timing.
- Find technical and schedule risks early, build engineering-backed mitigations, and drive risks to closure.
- Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements that increase speed, quality, and predictability across programs.
- Coordinate silicon hardware logistics: movement, tracking, and availability of silicon, boards, and peripherals to prevent validation and bring-up delays.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 12+ years in technical roles with at least 5 years as a technical program manager owning SoC programs through bring-up and productization.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of SoC bring-up, validation, and productization processes and common failure modes.
- Ability to work across the silicon–system–software boundary and identify integration risks without being the sole technical expert.
- Proven track record running fast development cycles in uncertainty and creating transparency into progress and risk.
- Clear, concise, audience-appropriate communication and decision-making under changing requirements.
- On-site presence in Santa Clara, CA a minimum of three days per week.
Nice-to-have:
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered program management tools (automated status, risk, and dependency signals) and ability to evaluate their impact on outcomes.
- Experience coordinating with AI/ML teams and aligning infrastructure and productization timing for AI-accelerated products.
- Experience with AI-assisted logistics tracking or AI productivity tools that improve engineering velocity.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A master's degree is a plus.
